MLS has said that in 2027 with the new season restructure will come five new six-team regional divisions. This is how I think it should lay out.

MNUFC's Nectar Triantis played in his first-ever game for Greece on Tuesday in a 0-0 draw with Belarus. Appearing in the 64th minute he had a pretty quiet but steady game. The appearance cap-tied him to Greece over Australia, his home country who he played for as a youth.

MN United’s Carlos Harvey had a great game for Panama on Tuesday night with a 8.2 Fotmob rating and one shot off the woodwork. Panama defeated El Salvador booking a trip to the World Cup for only the second time in their history.

MN United’s Joseph Rosales' Honduras struggled yet again Tuesday night and drew 0-0 with Costa Rica and Alejandro Bran. The result means neither team will be making an appearance at WC 26.

Love this. The Grand Portage area is one of my favorites in MN. Anything north of Grand Maris and things get very quiet and peaceful. Me on top of Mt. Josephine in Grand Portage in September. The trail is accessible thanks to the Grand Portage Ojibway.

Also funny that on my morning scroll I was searching Google Maps for Cape Verde, the smallest country to ever qualify for the World Cup (yesterday) and this photo popped up on images shared of the country. Look familiar to this thread?

According to @frederickmelo.bsky.social, “FAMILY” — the Centerpiece at the Museum of Modern Art San Francisco —- will be permanently situated either inside or outside the four-level TreeHouse retail/office building at #MNUFC's United Village. It’s by the artist known as KAWS.

Dr. Bill McGuire recently shared plans for United Village, the development surrounding #MNUFC's Allianz Field. A bakery, dinner, pizzeria, Bailey's Garden, ice rink, music venue, day care, some of these concepts are now in the works. Details here:

The US is and has been a soccer nation despite what you have been told by US Soccer and even Don Garber.
Soccer was in New Jersey before Brazil
US had a pro league before Italy or Spain

Tina Schlieske in Mears Park in Lowertown, St. Paul for Twin Cities Jazz Festival. It feels like summer even though it doesn’t start until tomorrow. Bring it on.

The last days of Big River Pizza. 🍕 Sad to see it go. Lowertown is happening again tonight with Music in Mears Park, a St Paul Saints game and Twin Cities Jazz Festival. Makes me nostalgic. Why can’t St. Paul have nice things too.

Here are #MNUFC manager Eric Ramsay's post game quotes on making wholesale changes (8) to the starting lineup that lost to Houston on Wednesday night 2-0. There was no continuity w/8 subs.
There hasn't been much to criticize Ramsay for in his 15 months with the Loons but I will call BS on this one.

I uncovered some interesting stats looking at #MNUFC roster today. We have five defenders who have created 8 assists so far this season and another who has two goals. The Loons have scored 17 goals so nearly half of the goals have been assisted from defenders.
Set plays?

Messi loses the ball to the Loons who do their own version of tiki-taka. ⚽️

First two illustrations are of the office building and third is the great lawn, hotel in the back, pavilion on the right and office building hardly visible on the left.

Work has started at United Village surrounding #MNUFC Allianz Field.
Surface prep work in first 2 video shots is new office building with bank, bakery, coffee & open space. My understanding is this will also be the MN United headquarters. 3rd video is 1-story food pavilions east of the Great Lawn.
