But that's what this guy does. I know Gunn's not perfect, but his track record for making weird shit not only good but really great is pretty unimpeachable. I'm also ashamed to admit I've seen almost nothing of his pre-Marvel work, so I should try to remedy that.

I think the Mutant League guy tried kick-starting a new game a few years ago and it didn't hit its goal. I think there just isn't enough crossover between sports nerds and regular nerds to have made this genre a sure thing.

They should just rerelease NBA Jam but replace the players with monsters. MonStars, if you will.

Or, now that I think about it, explicitly an RPG. It's a tactics game with a lot of RPG-like qualities. So...never mind!
