Yesterday I had back surgery for the third time. L4 down to S1 vertebrae are now fused. I'll be in the hospital for a day or two more, then have a couple months of recovery at home.

Once this is out of the way I plan on hitting the ground running with my photography!

My first attempt at directly imaging the #sun. So many #sunspots!

#canon R7 with #tamron SP 500mm f/8 55BB and Tamron SP-140 1.4x teleconverter with a 20 stop ND filter. Handheld 1/1000th sec, ISO 320, 1,120mm/eq at f/11.
