Yes, I too was a teacher, now a retired high school English teacher, so I understand the impetus to connect to the generations coming up. I've had the priviledge to encounter so many wonderfully talented artistic kids over my 30 years. So sad to see them creating in isolation with no art classes.

To me, superb artists are secretly alien heralds sent from advanced civilizations, that pity humans, to live among us with a mission to elevate us to a higher evolutionary level. That's the best I can do to rationalize why you and your kind are so damn special.
