No one knows what the future holds, but teams that are up for sale rarely make major investments in their franchise. Don’t buy into the PR spin, all the press releases will say the usual nonsense. In the end, it will go to the highest bidder. The losers are San Diego Padres fans, again. Padres 2026

The sad part about today will be watching the orange mad man try to spin and lie his way out of what happened last night, then without any regrets continue to destroy America

San Francisco skyline, 2025 is going to close out and mark two years in a row that I didn't take a road trip to a favorite place to wander with a camera 📸

First time in a long time that I remember a ballot only having one item on it, I don't like anything about prop 50, in fact I'm 100% against it but sometimes you have to have to fight evil with evil 🤬

The golden eagle is rare in San Diego, but you can still spot them if you’re lucky. This one’s a rescue, captured in a very old image from my library. I have a beautiful print of it tucked away in storage somewhere.

I just realized I have been reposting so much ugly crap on this platform because this is where I come to doom scroll and follow politics 😔 I need to make a point to lighten it up every once and a while

Was reminded this morning that @markhamillofficial.bsky.social has a street named after himself here in San Diego, in a world full of hateful figures remember the shining lights ✨

Took out my 600 for a few snaps of the Harvest Supermoon last night

When Guillermo del Toro is sitting next to you dropping F-Bombs and you know you want to but you shouldn't 😀 @realgdt.bsky.social

Doing something a little different today and sharing some not-so-great photos that actually mean a lot to me. I didn’t have the best angle, and I wasn’t about to be that person shoving in front of others just to get the shot, especially when I already had a reserved seat. @realgdt.bsky.social

I seldom brake my rule of no more selfies, I don't need my face in anything anymore but when Doug is in the Lucasfilm pavilion at San Diego Comic Con all rules are out the door

Another from my ongoing hummingbird quest.
Captured yesterday with the Nikon Z8 — ƒ/6, 1/2000s, 380mm, ISO 1800.
Still chasing that perfect frame, but I keep coming back for moments like this. (See prior post for context.)

Anyone who’s followed me or my photography for a while knows that hummingbirds have always been a personal project of mine. I’ve never gone all in with proper lighting or a professional setup, partly because I’m lazy about it, but mostly because I just love the challenge.
