There is a follow up the Goon Squad called "The Candy House". Same kind of anthology style, with a follow up the stories and characters from the first book. It's also very good!

Tomorrow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. Great story with interesting characters and it's also set in the game dev world!
