Had to leave for work before I could finish it. Have I think 12 days left to go and am on the east coast of the US. Was doing better until a storm diverted my boat from San Francisco to Hawaii.

Fandom these days seems to perceive fiction as a sort of psychic accounting of some perspective on a theoretical world that exists, intrinsically complete, coherent, and causal, as opposed to art made by humans with conscious intent to express ideas and emotions and theme.
