I had the good fortune to do sound for BNL for a private gig in DC. I was already a fan, but this was back in The Yellow Tape days when they were still mostly unknown in the US. When they launched into "One Week"during soundcheck I KNEW that was about to change. One of my favorite memories.

Royalties are generated at time of actual sale to a customer. Royalties are super complicated but short version; Taylor gets more money now and SB gets nothing.
More importantly, Taylor now gets to decide how those recordings are used in the future, and that was always the real issue.

I've got Ménière's disease and have had debilitating vertigo attacks off and on for about 10 years now. Only someone who has had what I call a "real" vertigo attack [getting dizzy and falling down doesn't count] knows how truly awful it is.
