Thank you dream-piper over on Tumblr for this awesome art of Jugomei! It'll be a while before I write her story. This commission was mostly to figure out what design I wanted to go with for her. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy this wonderful piece and the eventual book Jugomei will be featured in!

While all grim reapers are trained to fight demons and are likely to encounter at least a few during their time in their chosen position, only the Exorcist branch is dedicated to hunting them down.

Unlike other branches, a reaper cannot choose to join the Exorcists. They must be chosen.

While many know reapers for their role as Psychopomps, it isn't only the newly dead which they watch over. While souls in Erebus are watched by the Furies, most humans end up waiting in Purgatory for their chance to go to Heaven. It is these souls which the Purgatory Patrol have jurisdiction over.

In the afterlife of the Young Reaper Saga, the mysterious tunnels serve as the only method of travel between the realms, making them important strategic locations. Because of this, the grim reapers have dedicated an entire branch to the defense of these tunnels. This branch is known as the Charons.

While less well known in the public eye than the Psychopomps, the members of the Anubis Corps are in no way less vital to the continued existence of the reapers as an organization and a society. Indeed, you might say they are the most vital.

Starting off our journey into the afterlife of The Young Reaper Saga and the different branches of the grim reapers, we have what is easily the largest and most recognizable branch: Psychopomps.

In preparation for the release of "In The Pale Moonlight" I will be sharing some info about the society of grim reapers I created for the afterlife of the book and the 5 branches they are divided into! For each I will show off their badge along with basics on each branch that the badge represents.

Big news! My next book, "In The Pale Moonlight," will be releasing worldwide on June 13, 2025! Having a book about LGBTQ+ grim reapers come out on Friday the 13th of Pride Month was too perfect to pass up.
