@VeloBusDriver I've found that the paper bag technique definitely makes them red eventually, but by then they have lost a lot of flavor or are kind of mushy.

@troed If you're aware of reliable references about which kernels they're shipping, I'd be interested in looking at that. I started looking for that when I began writing this story, but decided it was probably a separate story.
