New work for @nytimes.com

Trump’s ongoing attacks on Intel CEO combine with market headwinds, threatening further delays on potential $100 billion project. I spent some time back in January documenting the construction and massive power and infrastructure investments in the area.

New work for @wsj.com — I photographed and filmed a robot unloading boxes at a DHL shipping facility. Its calm, effortless efficiency could signal a sea change for this once human-centric occupation.
Technology breakthroughs are allowing DHL and other companies to automate the laborious, injury-prone work of loading and unloading.

New work for @nytimes.com on Kathleen Spangler, a 29-year-old Marine who just won a home in Ireland through a raffle.
Kathleen Spangler, a 29-year-old U.S. Marine Corps officer, only vaguely remembered buying a few tickets in an online raffle back in December. Six months later, she got a text from a friend asking, “By chance, did you win a cottage in Ireland?” nyti.ms/4ebfpZe

New 📸 work by me for @nytimes.com.

Laura Modi built a cult baby formula business that’s is rooted in science and uses organic ingredients. Some of her fans aren’t happy that she’s willing to work with the Trump administration.

New work for @theatlantic.com - I spent a few days following Tim Walz as he crossed the Buckeye State meeting with union members, party activists, and frustrated voters in newly conservative districts that were once Democratic strongholds.
Tim Walz has been busy traveling from state to state for labor roundtables, townhall meetings, and impromptu roadside stops, reports @markleibovich.bsky.social. At the very least, Walz “feels itchy to help jump-start the second Donald Trump resistance”:

Excited to share my latest photo essay for The New York Times.

For the past five years, I’ve made the trek up to northern Michigan to document a quirky, obscure fishing season and its impact on a small community.
