Your responses are all about your fall to hatred. You’re screaming at a strawman. The global Jewish diaspora is not all at fault for Netanyahu and the other far right Israeli. Have a nice life fellow human

“Waaaa, people want me to have a nuanced opinion and I just want them to hate as I hate.” Fuck every and any militant who puts innocents in the way, no matter their uniform or lack thereof.

Until we all start seeing each other as reflections of God, as siblings of humanity, everywhere is war

If there had been a bunch of anti-Arab sentiment on this thread, I would have called THAT out, but it isn’t what I saw. American Jews, many of whom are very anti-Netanyahu, have repeatedly told me they are experiencing a huge uptick in antisemitism.

And in the same way, there are Israelis who resist the genocidal actions by Netanyahu and the IDF. There are Palestinians who resist Hamas attacking civilians. The actions of both Hamas and the IDF are a stain on their respective religions

I was not replying to the main thread here, but rather many of the comments. And several comments to me have just proven my point. In my country, our military has been used repeatedly to harm noncombatants in search of profits for the few. And yet many resist.

There are as many Israelis and other members of the Jewish diaspora who are against Netanyahu as there are Americans against our governments warmongering.

I feel like some of you need to hear this. Some.

You can be against the actions of the Israeli government and its constant assault against the Palestinians AND be against Hamas. You can support Palestinian statehood without being an antisemitic ass.

I used to really hate my last name because of how much flack I used to take for it, but the more I’ve learned the more awesome I think it is. In Aurthurian legend, Cadog was the keeper of the grail. So, a dogwood.

Also, my dad will appreciate all the “you can tell from the bark” jokes

I chose a dogwood because Doak is an Americanization of the Gaelic Doig, shortened from Mac Gille Doig, “Sons of the Servants of the Dog”, Saint Cadog.
