Yeah, no one but the Beatles could’ve gotten away with releasing what’s essentially an unfinished album. I *think* they got away with it mostly because it was pitched as the “album of the soundtrack of the film” Let It Be. I mean, it even won a Grammy for being a soundtrack!

I juuuuust reread Moore’s original—which I don’t think I’d read since it came out in 1987 or so—and felt much the same way!

This is one of the many political cartoons Seuss did for New York’s PM newspaper in the early 1940s. This one is dated September 9, 1941.
