I teach psychology at a local small college as a tenured faculty member, tend to overthink things, so I try not to overthink things here, I like basketball, have dyslexia, and think stats are pretty cool.
Was thinking of you while at work. Last quarter I've been feeding some crows..I'm calling them "fluff" and "bold" for now
..anyway...hadn't seen them for a month and they were waiting for me outside of class yesterday.

Lock in concerns seem to be...waves hand...everywhere.

Sure; my point is less about the plants specifically and more of the similarities to conservative arguments against building things/concepts.

I'm hearing it now and Washington State about income taxes: "if you start an income tax for millionaires it will mean that eventually everyone will be taxed"

Interesting read. I had 2 surprising thoughts: 1) "lock in" as it relates to nuclear plants...once you build it, consequences be damned we will keep it open. 2) the complexity of the supportive actions--when used in other domains--is why conservatives want to slash everything.

As soon as he was sworn in it was clear he'd be a one term governor. His policies are just way too right wing and will do way too much damage. Hell spin it as being reality based but honestly it is just lazy legislating.

Maybe that's their joke. Absolves them of the guilt not getting something for a sibling, a ritual completed, connection made, and avoids an appearance of favoritism.

Running has increasingly been taking a higher percentage of my overall enrollment.

And to broaden it a bit, It's worth considering that these students are being encouraged, directly or not, to use AI in high school.

You must not know the history of the 2nd amendment, then.

You can wrap some terrible things with "just saying" or for example".

I'm as liberal as they come but such a repeat offender has proven that it would not matter if their license was suspended. They would drive anyway.

And so at some point separating them from society seems to be the only conclusion

Anyone else experiencing schadenfreude over them calling out business schools?

How many students will you have?
December 2, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Doesn't that depend on how much?
