this stupid ticket was 20 dollars. i had to shell out for the fancy seat at the fancy screen cuz it's all that was available, keeping in mind i have to be at work until 5:30, and i need to wake up around 6:30 to be at work on time the next morning. this stupid movie is 2 and a half hours long.

just finished watching this for my movie group. holds up astonishingly well. one of the best movies ever about grimy, shitty guys doing dangerous stuff covered in muck. 4 stars

The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met traumatized a ton of kids because of it's dark ending but this is the scene that freaked me out as a child. all the hell fire was too much for my Mormon mind

old movie posters are the best. nobody was self-conscious about hyperbole in the ad copy. "WITNESS THE GREATEST AND MOST PROFOUND WORK IN THE HISTORY OF ENTERTAINMENT!"
