Yea it’s just weird given our field doesn’t really hire ChemEs outside of a specific group, but I guess they are easier to train on plant processes and things even in non Chem areas

I believe the unofficial term was “Fake Engineering” it is interesting though that up here we prefer ChemEs over IEs for jobs that would seem to be perfect for IEs

Forgot about that one but I’d say the full answer he provided is more in line with support than what everyone assumed his positions are. Even if his full answer seems naive 9 years later with how the world has changed.

I’d be super surprised if Dabo does. The closest thing to politics he’s done/said that I can think of was participating in a player led BLM event and accepting an award from a not great group for work his foundation does. Thankfully his dumb comments seem limited to CFB-related things.

The behind the scenes rumor is boosters at Bama have no interest in him. And last year they called him and Dabo said he wasn’t interested.
