Seems widely forgotten that general expectation was that it would take 2 terms to get Labour out of opposition, so maybe there was no plan. I have a theory that the Tories threw the election. They knew what was down the line, and campaigned so badly it's a better explanation than incompetence.

I don't understand why the simple solution to this isn't just an LLM trained on previous approvals. It's the whole point of citation / precedent - it has to exist and can be checked. Ideal job for AI. So now we can just have nimby/yimby bots shouting at each other at the cost of the planet.

Buy a kindle and sideload books. Devices have a wafer thin margin so you get the benefit of a cheap device without Amazon getting the margin on content.

I don't get why this approach is confusing. Set a pitch that would be appealing to your Dad / Grandad, etc while vaguely aligned with "now"
It abstracts today'a problems and focuses on a greater mission

I don't think it's going to be effective, but its not subtle

Guardian's policy for opening up articles for comment seems entirely arbitrary. This one seems ripe for it... But no? Meanwhile comment away on Sunderland v Villa.

My tuppence-worth: despite like all the component parts and wanting to like it, 2 Pints just... wasn't very good?

If you change 'far right' to 'racist' then it makes a lot more sense. Which version of nationalism do you choose: 'us', or 'not them'
