I find this utterly bizarre, discovered recently talking to my son that most of his mates have this. Read the comments and many (most?) people see this as normal / some kind of safety essential. IT'S WEIRD AND CREEPY!!!

It takes, what, half a million children out of poverty? What better value could possibly be had from the money?

Bought a 2/3 yo model late '23 (backmarket, other suppliers available..). Seemed good as new, still seems a good as new. Priced maybe 40% of new. Wide did same, same experience. No brainer to me.

Another privileged public schoolboy persuing power safe in the knowledge he's safe personally from the failure of his extreme ideology.

Give was also highly misleading on his claims of lab leak origin. Scientific consensus is that martial origin is far more likely.

WTF??

"Estimated" is an awful idea surely; part of the purpose should be to inventivise other less damaging transport options. "Estimated" seems nothing more than "new VED rate for EVs"?

Just be honest and say that you want Ukraine to surrender to the murderer Putin, who would have you assassinated for these words if aimed at him in Russia.

And haven't noticed that 90% of Brits hold Musk in absolute contempt.

I'll see your coal and raise you solar. There's a revolution underway in the last couple of years as solar is now cheaper than fossil fuels. It's genuinely remarkable the rate it's progressing.

How much of this is driven by demographics - it's 10 years since the vote(!) and it was hugely skewed by age. Bregret proceeds one funeral at a time (to misquote Max Planck)?

One shoe is amateur stuff. Our son once lost three in a day at primary school.

Thank you for this

Oh, and congrats on the achievement BTW. It's bloody hard.

Am sceptical that this applies on the timescale of the rise in obesity. But by scepticism is no guide to the facts!

Am not sure that better nutrition is what's driven the increase in weight... We can access better nutrition, but on average, I'd guess we actually don't?
October 15, 2025 at 10:53 AM
Our perception of normal weight has changed hugely. Go back 50 years and most people would seem emaciated.

Is it pedantry though? Or precision??

First thing I did when Trump was reelected was donate to Wiki, which I'd never done before.
