(1/7) Respectfully, RFK Jr. isn't keeping anyone in the dark. He is clueless and couldn't care less about security at CDC. I would assume whatever security measures are taken will not be shared with him. He's the second greatest threat to the agency's security. (Guess who's first.)

(2/7) I don't think CDC headquarters will be safe for many months. For one thing, upwards of 120 windows are shattered and will need to be replaced. All the other windows will also need to be replaced because they will need to be bullet-proof (if there is such a thing).

(3/7) For another, repairs will be needed of damage as responders cleared the facilities room by room before the lockdown could be lifted.

(4/7) But more importantly, the staff severely traumatized.

(5/7) They heard more than 500 shots fired. They hid in darkened rooms for hours with lights off, cell phones silenced, furniture barricading the doors, and no word as to the status of their coworkers or their children in the day-care center.

(6/7) Windows shattered. Glass shards being pulled from hair. No words of condemnation from the HHS Secretary. No disavowal of his many years of demonization of CDC public health workers. No daylight between shooter’s beliefs and the Secretary’s.

i don’t understand this bc i thought the initial response was to shots coming from the 2nd floor of the cvs (where you would have a clear view of multiple cdc buildings) and the shooter was found dead there. did he start shooting from the street and then go into the cvs and go up to the 2nd floor?
