3/4 This suggests that CSBD might conflate ISS with "compulsive" sexual behavior. We discuss whether the rule-outs in the dx are sufficient to mitigate this--and more broadly discuss whether this dx might act as a new avenue to pathologize sexual minority populations.

2/4 We found that internalized sexual stigma (ISS) is robustly associated with endorsement of the essential (required) features of the dx, even controlling for sexual behavior frequency--"with those scoring highest versus lowest having 32-fold increased odds."
