As annoyed as I am with commute this is so great. I don’t get the reaction of those earning similar or less saying drivers are unreasonable: if you do full time work and still can’t ever afford a house, then yes it is too low: and yes all most of us are paid too low - go on strike like them

Really, eVisa is not acceptable as a valid ID and if someone fails to provide an acceptable ID AND one with signature not only will they be denied entry, they will forfeit thousands of pounds in fees

@migrantsorganise.bsky.social we have refugee members planning to sit this exam.

and of course it’s a “no”. I’m not even sure if the stamp is really actually bigger. These two for example, look equally big. She told me she had emailed London city to check but they didn’t know either so maybe it was just the way the person stamped it… so literally what was the point??

I was told that the stamp dated 9 Apr 2023 is “slightly bigger” than the rest and that’s why they had to check because “we are obsessed with stamp” (to be fair she was polite enough throughout). I told her that I’ve obviously used this passport a number times after, including at gare du nord

again no further information was given. The notice given doesn’t say anything other than detention was under para 16(1) sch 2 IA’71. About 10 minutes more she finally came out and gave me back my passport.

It’s not about you, you twat. People who actually need legal aid don’t have a choice and lawyers who decide to use their legal skills and knowledge to work with these individuals deserves to be paid decent salary. Not everyone think it’s enough to do a couple of hours of “CSR”

Would be great if this is not just a hypothetical exam question but is actually correct factually and/or at least somewhat enforced. 10 years in the sector, client care is probably provided 50% of the time? Maybe less. Never seen a translated one (also where do they expect funding for this?)
