Tonight's lullaby was written by Fred Nell. Covered by Tim Buckley.

Loving the newest rendition of the song.

I would play Memorabilia a lot on my WQBR radio show in Ypsilanti. I preferred Memorabilia to Closer as it was charting and heard through every dorm room. Listeners were shocked and surprised to lean that it was Soft Cell original.
Thank you for the music

I loved this song when I first heard this song at the Necto, Menjos and Backstreet. I remembering reading this music magazines during this time and linking the album David Ball (Soft Cell). Godspeed.

David Ball, thank you for the music. This is one of the best Soft Cell covers songs. Yes, there is also the Memorabilia cover that Nine Inch Nails released as the flipside to Closer.
Godspeed

Playlists from last week and this week.

This week's playlist has music recorded and inspired by Germany. Musicians have been known to move to Berlin for Inspiration since Iggy Pop and David Bowie in the mid 1960's.

So many bands have recorded at Hansa look for * on my playlist. I hope you enjoy it.

This week’s playlist was an improvised "on the spot" or "off the cuff". I decided to improvise and create a DJ set without interruptions.
For the record, I will never use Artificial Intelligence to create any of my music playlists (I live and breathe music too much to do this). Cheers!

This week's playlist is a recap of music from what I'm enjoying released in 2025.
Thinking music is the only thing that can keep us from falling apart vs the duress that we are seeing in the world. Stay strong!

On the road trip or a special assignment (the continuation of my birthday week).

I will always drop a weekly soundtrack of what I'm listening to.

Lots of July birthdays from some of my favorite singers, bands and musicians. I hope you enjoy it.

Cheers!
