It probably defines my age as I am constantly mistyping the acronym for X-Ray Computed tomography (XCT) in the paper I am working on with XTC. I must be unintentionally making plans for Nigel.

OK I have seen Venus, Jupiter and Mars. Through binoculars I can convince my self Venus is possibly a crescent. No telescope but iPhone photo is not circular

I am on the towpath of the now drained Bridgewater canal at Dunham Massey. The embankment is breached about 100 m ahead. Erosion as the canal section drained has deepened the canal channel. In the distance you can see damage to the viaduct across the River Bollin.

Mince pies were 17p for a pack of 4 at the Sainsbury’s in Manchester Piccadilly Station. Good job I only bought 1 box.
