right. I think I see the problem here.

You found a good pair?! Some of these are just not very good at all. The game sounds better muted in some cases.

I know it's a pain to duplicate stuff on multiple platforms. Part of the grind, I guess.

First time I've seen Doritos as an ingredient in anything. Makes me wonder what other brands are used like this.

Agreed. It's possible the original intent was devised when Twitter was still a functional company. That said, Jack might be less incentivized by "good business" than he is about building a new widget that fills a gap. BSKY today may be all it ever becomes. #sadtrombone

Found where I read it. Screencap from a friend.

We need an alternative to Twitter, but I don't think BSKY was ever intended to be that.
August 22, 2023 at 11:14 AM
honestly, it's not even clear that @jack.bsky.social intends for BSKY to be anything close to Twitter. Don't remember where I read it, but I picked up somewhere that BSKY, as an application, is merely a sandbox to test the platform agnostic social media protocol he's been working on. Nothing more.

Problem is really that the rollout is coming at a snails pace. One invite to give every 2 weeks. Even if every invite brought in more big names, the slow pace of signup means very few users to follow those big names. I'm hopeful jack loosens the slow roll soon.

Yep. This is a feature, not a bug.

Yep. I can't believe cursive lost out to the typewriter. What a sham!

Dunno 'bout that. Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it
