Definitely not the right process. There is also no guarantee Johnson would come here. (He has options) and I am sure there are questions how he’d build a staff and may not be in the building until mid-February. Vrabel has more NFL and college connections than Johnson, and HC experience.

More than one thing can be true. Disgusting handling of Rooney rule. Mayo was in over his head, but set up to fail. Vrabel is 100% the right hire.
