Serious question: How is Gossip Harbor? I've seen so many ads for it that I'm a little curious. Thanks!

Same, especially for night time routines. Right now it's reading. But then I'll change back to playing solitaire games on my phone. And then it will be playing crossword games.

Same thing happened to me with a USB-C monitor for my laptop. One airport said I didn't have to take it out. Another airport got annoyed at me for not taking it out.

Awesome. I can't wait to check it out.

That's my recommendations on audio dramas. I hope you enjoy them (or are enjoying them if you already listen). If you have a favorite that you like, leave it below and share why you like it.

As so many people mentioned in the comments for the show, Desert Skies helped me with my own journey of processing the death of my dad. It gave me space to celebrate his life and grieve his passing.

Desert Skies took on a heavy topic of death and loss and handles it with love, care, and levity. I really enjoy all of the characters he's created. And I love the themes of redemption and being reminded that we are more than just our good or bad moments.

Desert Skies
@desertskiespodcast.com is a show about life after death and the journey to the afterlife. It centers on Desert Skies, the first stop for travelers on their journey after death. They are greeted by the Attendant, the Mechanic, and C.A.S.H.

Midnight Burger also has a bunch of side stories that absolutely should not be missed. They add so much to the rich lore of the world they've created. I'm nearing the end of season four and I've had to make myself slow down to actually savor the moments. So well done.

Midnight Burger has also done a great job of giving reverence to faith. It would've been so easy to make two of their characters just a couple of Christian folksy people. But they've done a great job of portraying two people who are earnestly trying to live out their faith as best as they can.

Midnight Burger
@midnightburger.bsky.social is about a diner that travels through time and space. The stories are wonderfully written and I have laughed out loud so many times listening to this delightful show. The characters are so well written and performed.

The creators of Midst have a follow up story currently going on called "Unend". It's about a group of explorers from the cosmos of Midst who set out to discover the secrets of their cosmos. The most recent episode was so good and I can't wait for the next one.

Midst has made me gasp more than a few times with various revelations or twists in the stories. I love the world they created and the characters and the lore. After finishing it, it was so much fun going back to the first episode and hearing it all but with a better understanding.

Midst
@midstpodcast.bsky.social is about a cosmos divided into two halves: One half is in perpetual daylight and the other is in perpetual darkness. The story centers on an islet that sits between the two halves, Midst.
The music is just so good and the worldbuilding is amazing.

I use a safety razor with a disposable blade, so the only waste is the metal razor, which can be recycled.
I can't speak for all skin types, but using a good shave soap and a good aftershave balm I've hardly ever had problems with scratches on my neck.
