Retired public defender, retired boiler and plumbing repair. I could get you heat and hot water, or get you out of hot water.
One hopes for the Gov's sake that he doesn't do that right after shaking hands with Hegseth.

You can't win if you're running for Mayor in NYC. Back some time ago, Bill DiBlasio got dragged for eating pizza with a knife and fork, instead out of the hand the way "real NYers" do. Though in the home of pizza, utensils are required for good manners.

What does anyone expect from someone who bases his practice on the mythical "subluxations". Playing tennis w/o a net is fun until the kids get sick and die.

They spelled "tax avoiders" and "tax cheats" wrong.

Public health depends on people's NOT "doing their own research" (for obvious reasons) but upon trust. That's gone, mostly, and I don't see a way back to that.

Was there (In Mainz/Wiesbaden) last month. Yes, you can get pretty much anywhere without a car and the trains run frequently.

They're huffing the hopium that Iran agrees that there's no war.

We are so screwed. Like it or not the protections public health offers depend on trust, and in the pandemic, a charitable interpretation of mistakes made when nobody knew much about the infection. That's largely gone, and won't soon be recovered, no matter who runs CDC

When I've tried that, the cats' response has been, "There will be blood."

Back in 2017, when I was still in my 7th decade, I met tons of young people on my 2000 mile hike of the Appalachian trail. "The kids are ok" or at least those were, then.

Much easier to sell the vaporware of going to Mars, especially for that sweet, sweet government money.

Got to remember not to reply until the coffee kicks in.
