A hodgepodge of whimsy. Guitars and guitar accessories. Holding the name Otter Slaughter for a temporarily fake band.
Anyone own an #Epiphone Noel Gallgher Riviera that can share some thoughts on tone and feel? Riding the Oasis wave still and am vulnerable into talking myself into one.

Took my '94 MIM black label Strat in for a tune-up. New custom hand wound pickups, an action adjustment and I'm back in love with the first guitar I bought at 16, but hadn't played in easily 5 years. That era of Fender Squier series has some sleepers in it.

Sometimes, I just let my Red Panda Tensor and Particle 2 fight. #pedalboards

It's February in St. Louis. Time to revisit this gloomy gem.

The one and only self-titled Deconstruction album being widely available via streaming makes me so happy. Guitar nerds of my generation and the lucky ones who get to discover this gem, rejoice! #pedalboards

Krampusnacht!

There's a glitch on the Red Panda site that displays the Context pedal for $60. I was about to order 4.

Said it before, and I'll say it again. Bowie's "hours..." is criminally underrated.

Adding more chaos to the #pedalboard. Just when I thought I was done rearranging for the umpteenth time.

Source Audio needs to drop their black friday sale. I want the Artifakt pedal, but I won't pay retail.

And now it's just bluesky. Deactivated twitter and it feels just like ditching Facebook so many years ago.

So ready for the new Infowars. This is absolutely tremendous.

Saw a cybertruck today and did the only appropriate thing. Point and laugh. The brake lights on those things are so f'ing stupid.

Saw Sturgill, erm, Johnny Blue Skies last month and the concert hangover has lasted 27 fiscal days. What a band.

Popping back in after a year. Hi, all 6 of you.

Anyone own an Earthquaker Devices Data Corrupter? Do you like it?

Can't emphasize enough how amazing the Sphere in Las Vegas is.

24 hours ago, staring straight up at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Say what you want about U2, this was an experience. That venue is unbelievable.

@jamesgunn.bsky.social was Brother Thornton collecting nickles for billiards mishaps during your time at the Backer Memorial?

Going to the Sphere in Vegas on Sunday, and the reality is setting in. Can't wait to see that place, and the band that's playing has some good tunes.

I unapologetically love the band Ghost.

A little boudoir Tele Tuesday. The shot is poorly lit, but I assure you I am not.

Trying to branch out musically and get into some country twang, and it's a massive departure from my lane. Myxolodian scale isn't something I dabbled in. Tele sounds good as I fail, however.

Follow up on the Tele string gauge, the 10's hold up way better for a hard day's rockin'.
September 7, 2023 at 5:21 PM
Bought a Telecaster 11 days ago and broke the high E already. Can't believe people put 9's on those things. Or I need to dial back the bends. Let's see what 10's do.
