Chester Cat is Judging You

For my musician friends. I am burning both sage AND incense after seeing this.

Chester never met Louis the Bengal, but they would have been good friends.

Every world leader has figured this out. You flatter him. You give him presents. He is a twelve year old boy whose father never loved him.

We set up two boxes for our cats to watch TV with us. However, they would beat the crap outta each other after a few minutes sitting there.

So I brought down my bald eagle plushie (National Eagle Center, Wabasha) and put it in between the battle boxes.

They will not fight with the Eagle there.

I've said it before, but my reaction to the death of a stable world order is perfectly encapsulated by this still of Sam Neill in "In the Mouth of Madness". He didn't believe it. It was too insane. But in the end, he gave up because of Cthulhu or something.

Way to go, campus keffiyeh-wearers.

Lotsa folks telling me how I should feel about this whole end-of-the-world thing.

If you haven't seen "In the Mouth of Madness", spoilers ahead.

Sam Neill starts out sane. Then Lovecraftian horrors occur, and he gives up on being sane. In the end, he can only sit back and laugh.

Mood.

I’m trying to avoid paralysis, but I kinda feel like Sam Neill does here.
