I'm being spammed by ads for the "MAGA VICTORY AR-15," a "Custom-Designed Commemorative AR-15 Celebrating the 47th President Donald J. Trump" (a gun in an American flag wrap with the Presidential seal) for $2,997. (A new AR-15 starts under $500.)

Every ad has this unusual testimonial on it.

I gave Jill a piece of cheese and said, "This is how you fascinate a woman." She had never heard of this, so I looked up this image online and showed her, and then she wanted to know more about what book this is and where it came from, so yes, she did end up fascinated.

This is our other #cat, Fender - so named because we found him as a noisy kitten almost two years ago in the engine compartment of our car!

I believe he's got a lot of Egyptian Mau in him, like the markings, the jumping, the long hind legs. The white bib and paws are just nonstandard cuteness.

I needn't have worried. This is an early photo, but eventually about 300 of us lined the street, holding signs, getting lots of friendly honks from traffic (and one mean pickup burning rubber so smoke would hit us). Everyone was peaceful and kind. This is what love of country looks like. #NoKings

This resonates with me. I want these.

The folks who say that affirmative action is "reverse racism" often say that if we'd just stop talking about racism, it would disappear and everybody would be equal.

This is the cartoon that, long ago, convinced me they're wrong.

I reached an 800 day streak on the Duolingo Japanese course, yay!

It really needs to be done in conjunction with other materials to learn the rules, but Duo is really helpful to develop an ear for the language. Now I can understand some of what anime characters are saying.

A little ball of feathers sleeps atop one of our (Central Florida) porch columns on some nights. r/whatsthisbird identified it as a Carolina Wren, and it turns out this is a thing they often do! www.reddit.com/r/sleepywrens/

He says, "It's bitter at first depending on the amount of dust in the herb, and then it gets smoother. You can also add a little sugar if you want."

I found a picture of Goofy enjoying a maté.
