ironically enough the people who say “i have the right to vote selfishly” are the same ones that are the first to ask, “what about me?”

it’s such a privilege to be able to say “i don’t pay attention to politics,” but know the accountability that must be taken when you say “i don’t want this.” of course we’re not supposed to be taking in so much info at once, but actively disengaging due to indifference means giving your power away.
