"i'm doing a renegade run so i have to choose to kill this guy" sort of switchboard choices, I guess. Some of them did make me think but ultimately i think the game overall doesn't hide the 2 big buttons its asking you to push. that's how i felt. didn't feel like my adventure.

I felt this immensely by the end of 1 where the choices were like. cartoonishly binary. we showed you the genocide chamber now do you want to uphold this or end it? much to think about! and it's like no i don't. think there's much to think about at all. it felt like choosing paragon or renegade.

only played 1, but i think for me they've turned themselves into a studio that makes games about Choice, and so every interaction/substory leads to a Binary Choice (binary being an operative word here) and it feels less like a naturally cohesive dialogue. 1s and 0s masquerading as words
