There are Museums of Illusion all over the world. They're fun, but all the same. I would go to the Art Institute, Field Museum, or Museum of Contemporary Art.
Everyone has their favorite Chicago pizza place. I like Gino's East. Can't go wrong with Lou Malnati's. Pequod's is supposed to be good.
