Quite the travesty that @nytimes.com spent so long normalizing mass Covid infections & platforming folks like Emily Oster, and now they publish this...
We can thank the CDC for once again going out of their way to sabotage mitigation by having their obfuscatory "guidelines" only associate masking with one being sick as "tool" to continue working instead of as a protect *preventative* measure. I was asked by my unmasked eye doctor if I was sick.
Wearing a mask these days sure gets me a lot of people asking “are you sick?”
I wish there were a succinct (and non-argumentative) way of saying, “no, I’m just unusually dedicated to, you know… the opposite of that”
