Its one of our needs surely? And you would think that we can compete with anyone but that doesnt always mean you get your way, esp if others push prices and wages up

That needs to balanced against the number of teams that are shopping for forwards... And our need is for someone who can prove to be top/elite level which reduces numbers further

the spending was needed, squad before was garbage. Agree to a degree on the attack, more chaos and directness is needed. But think he's done a good job

That's an excellent read. This season has been a real struggle for many reasons but with a decent summer we're in really good shape

The golden ticket remark should not have been anywhere near a balanced article. The narrative was clearly that there are too many EHCPs and that has led to deficiencies elsewhere, which is a riseable angle

Agreed. Overall the team is outperforming based on wage bill, injuries, luck etc. just needed a sprinkle of stardust to be complete
