I get it, but beef butties existed long before they were burgers. The problem is (imo) now burgers have their own classification of bread carrier and, while they are at the crux, a beef buttie, they do not have the versatility of being able to use any bread to make a buttie with.

I would classify a beef butties to be either ;- a simple corned beef, cold cuts with various pickles/spreads/chutneys or slices of hot roast beef with gravy and trimmings.

Well i can see a few pieces of jewellery in that label so if I ever come across this will be snapping it up!

Hahahahahaha....took my last antibiotics yesterday and been stood outside all day today at a Christmas Market!!! And will be doing the same tomorrow

I been in hospital with the pneumonia.....that's what I get for going south of the tyne!

Oh yes I know....back in 2012 when the habit was in fullest effect it was approximately £8.50 per day not including the free coffees i would get on my stamp card.

I still have the black coffee now.... just no cigs....I miss the cigs sometimes...especially at some ungodly hour in the morning when I am lying there awake contemplating getting out of bed for a coffee and that tab......oooh.

My pret habit was a thrice daily affair. My place of work did not have hot drink facilities & one coffee a day doth not sustain so there would be the pre work coffee in situ plus one to go to work with, then the getting lunch coffee and then the mid afternoon pick me up coffee.. they ALL knew me!

Pret black filter coffee was the only thing that sustained my working life. That and the cigarettes I would smoke and the occasional chicken salad sandwich (also from pret) and the morning croissant (again pret) ..... Pret is one of the few things I miss about being able to go to Newcastle.
