Well another plus of firing the subpar co-worker. We can go back to working from home one day a week again.
He was literally so bad we couldn't leave him on-site with low staff, our CIO distrusted him that much...wow

Oof. Co-worker on my team got fired today. I'm not surprised, he was very subpar and seemed to be in WAY over his head. I took over his job in the 3 months I've been here by automation and streamlining/sunsetting a lot of antiquated procedures he was doing.

New job is pretty good so far. I get along great with co-workers. Boss is flexible with arrival in the morning as long as it's before 9:30 so that's nice.
Readjusting to in office was a bit of a task but they are pretty relaxed here. Gets me out of the house more lol
