My read is that with the Brewers / Murphy’s success the last two years that Murphy is not close to retiring. Since he’s blocked from becoming manager anytime soon Weeks wants and would benefit from a job change.

It’s frustrating to see every other NL contender make moves to improve their big league roster while the Brewers stand pat. Status quo is not likely to get this Brewers roster to the World Series. If not now, when would the Brewers be in a better position to compete?

Yes! Do they still have the beer wagon that simulates delivering beer on cobblestone streets? Was there for a tour in 2005. Still have the Heineken glass that came with the tour.

I’d pay that, and more for Perdomo (who I doubt they’d listen on) but that seems like a lot for a rental.

The 2002 All Star Game was AWESOME. Bonds robbed of a HR by Hunter, Bonds hits a HR. Tons of action in that game. It never bothered me that it ended in a tie. It’s an exhibition and was one hell of a show.

Our pet emu got hooked on the Brewers from hearing me listening to the Brewers Tailgate podcast. It was deathly sick recently and its last wish was to be brought to the game. Unfortunately it died before that could happen so we brought his carcass.
