Put the remainder in a thermos. It tastes even better after a few hours IMO.

Those type of stouts aren't everyone's taste of course.
Whether that price is justified is sometimes a different matter but has a lot to do with the duty on beer.

There's a few places in Sheffield that specialise in beers like this, Rutland Arms, Shakespeares, Harlequin. This particular board of beers is from the Crow.

Seen plenty of pints that have broken the £10 barrier. To be fair though, as nice as it is, you'd have to be mad to be supping a pint of 14% imp stout!😵‍💫

Big beers are excellent for storing away though & only improve with age. I (try) to put most of mine away for a year before sampling them, although I might succumb to temptation before that time!

SM & in particular Tiktok has ruined the Peak District. Unfortunately the days of hidden gems are dead & gone (until the Tiktokers move on)😔
