I often feel like people forget about me as soon as I am out of their circle. Today someone I haven't spoken too in years sought me out to give me a gift that they got for me while they were in Japan because it made them think of me. It felt pretty nice to be remembered fondly.

I don't talk much about this kind of thing because when I say things like "trans women are women" or "protect trans kids" it feels like I'm just talking to myself. But today I don't really care. Trans people are real. Trans people are magic. Trans people deserve to live authentic lives. They MATTER.
