Nothing like a picket line to give you political energy and a sense of solidarity! We have been negotiating a contract for a full year. The ISU admin has been dragging its feet. We don't want to strike, but we will if necessary. In solidarity with students and academic workers everywhere

Reading my colleague Touré Reed's book, Toward Freedom: The Case against Race Reductionism. We have both been selected to deliver the College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Lectureship here at ISU (me in the fall and he in the spring).
