Also recall laughs from the crowd for the special bonus pre-scenes with Strax. Wide range of people too... old school fans, families, young adults et al which was cool.

RTD's quote about it being up to the BBC is why I'm not too worried. Disney or no Disney, Doctor Who will continue in some form. Although it would mean less episodes per year, if money is the issue, they could do 2 or 3 feature-length specials each year or even a Children of Earth-style mini-series.

I'm not getting complacent after the last few seasons we've had but there's a nice feeling again. Still a long way to go I think but a top 4 finish and winning the UECL "to complete the set" and I'd be a happy boy all things considered.
