After failing to override Gov. Laura Kelly's vetoes of similar bills in 2023 and 2024, Republicans in the #ksleg succeeded this year in banning care for transgender youth in Kansas, successfully overriding her veto 31-9 in the Senate and 85-34 in the House.

After yesterday's hearing, the Senate's health committee passed this bill earlier today.
