Little Godzilla Digivolved into Godzilla Jr over the weekend while I was sick! And they managed to kick Destoroyah's ass in a fight!

Godzilla Minus One broke records and introduced a savage new form for the kaiju in 2023. Its sudden appearance on Odo Island was a traumatic experience for Koichi Shikishima.

I don't have the means to open and play with this just yet, but I got the Godzilla Digimon crossover Digivice today as a belated birthday gift from my best friend! I'm so excited to raise my own kaiju.

2022 saw the release of the CG animated short Godzilla Vs Gigan Rex, with this iteration of the kaiju hinted at being Godzilla Jr. after the events of Godzilla Vs Destoroyah. It's one of my favorite designs and I'm fascinated by its hands having five fingers instead of the usual four!

2021 also saw the release of Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle in Seibuen Amusement Park in Tokorozawa City, Saitama, Japan. The short film within the ride was directed by Takashi Yamazaki, and Godzilla's appearance isn't all that different from what we'd see in Minus One.

HAPPY GODZILLA DAY!! As we approach the end of my chronological portrait project of the big guy, here are my favorite pieces that I've done so far.
