And then repubs will start yelling about how unaffordable “Obamacare” is and maybe they should repeal it
It’s like being stuck in a circle of stupid

So it will be a giant, self-referencing feedback machine?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me 38,000 times, and I can be a senator from Maine.

Last I looked, CA already paid a surplus to the Feds. This seems destabilizing and like yet another thing that would be a major scandal if it went the other way
June 6, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Does that mean that he looked at the last 45 years of republican history and said yep, they seem serious about cutting the deficit! I don’t buy it, he’s just trying to save face
June 3, 2025 at 7:29 PM

Is it just me or did he leave off 3 zeros? I mean 250 million is only about half of the cost of a plane from Qatar.

It also clarifies that al of the fear mongering about Obama and Biden socialism was absolute BS, but we already knew that

I still remember when they were sure that free trade was the correct answer for everything.
No principle except power!

Where is the money going??
March 27, 2025 at 3:44 AM
You know, countries usually retaliate against US business sectors, not individuals. This is like the way the US sanctions Russian oligarchs, which says a lot about the Canadian view of the current state of the US
March 26, 2025 at 11:33 PM
Yes, it’s true that it became a US and NATO/Russia proxy war (after Putin started it). The question for Rubio is why is the US so eager to surrender in this proxy war?

It’s like he understands the stakes, but won’t admit what his boss is doing to undermine it.
