I'm not sure that it's a misunderstanding. It's just that he doesn't care.

How in any way could this decision be made by any company caring in the least about their reputation? Hiring a serial killer to promote one's brand would not cause as much brand destruction.

Concur. Even when disagreeing Ive always accepted the decisions. Today it’s crossing a line into illegitimacy. Are they afraid? If so acquiescence will only hasten the decline of the court’s reputation. The lower courts of all stripes are fulfilling their obligations despite severe pressure.

While all other institutions collapse, the district court judges, of all stripes, are the unsung heroes. Their stories will be worth telling.

Thomas Paine wrote in Common Sense, "The more men have to lose, the less willing are they to venture." With the collapse and muted response of our law firms, universities, business leaders, Congress, and the Supreme Court, his words ring true today.

If the American system makes it through all of this, the district court judges will deserve a great deal of the credit. I would love to read the book that told their stories.

Don’t forget about tariffs. Or Appointments. Pretty much everything.

The Anti-Federalists also argued against the pardon power during ratification. Impeachment and removal was the remedy offered by the Federalists and we can see that has failed.

If you asked the average sixth grader to interpret Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution on who has authority to set tariffs - Congress or the President - they would look at you with a blank face and then ask, "Can you read?"
