I rented a car in Sweden than would beep at me every time I drove over the speed limit. It was very accurate on residential roads and freeways.

It seems plausible that readers could have more trust in “two people close to the White House” than if their names had actually been used. In which case the author is the one being protected.

Well, I don’t want it, but my kids use it for everything. School has taught them that Wikipedia can’t be trusted, but says nothing about AI. 🫠

I drove a Lexus with similar gas mileage in Sweden a few months ago, but the overall range wasn’t as high. 300 miles on 4 gallons of gas shocked me. It’s also sadly not available here.
