I am. I’m very curious to know if there is something we can do to safeguard at least some of these homes. If you’re a curious person who demands scientific evidence before deciding it’s okay to condemn tens of millions of people to lose their homes, then let’s get to work.

So, you are knowingly taking a very strong position with no basis in scientific research, that says 50+ million people must lose their homes in the coming decades. History tells us this won’t happen peacefully. You’re not even curious to know if there is anything else we can do to protect homes?

Let me see if I understand your position. IPCC (+many other) projections say that global average sea level rise will reach 50 cm above present under the most ambitious CO emission reductions. That translates to about 50 million people losing their homes even with aggressive emission reductions.
