There are several options listed on my website. CPs choose which of the options they want from me. Generally I ask for the same back from them. However, with CPs in the top 10% or when CPs have unusual skills, I will sometimes request something specific.

Mutual feedback. I typically have 50 CPs to work with. About 10% are regulars. The rest are off and on, depending on what’s happening with their lives.

I start all long opinion pieces on controversial subjects by reading the last paragraph first. Therefore I have a different perspective on what Gina was saying here.

Novel swaps are too big for me, personally. I wouldn’t swap novels unless it was a critique partner I had a long relationship with. I do chapter swaps with most of my CPs. Sometimes just chapter sections. Start small. See if it works out before committing to something bigger.

Honestly. I have given up on writing groups. In my experience, the serious writer/attention seeker ratio is never good. What I do now works much better. I connect one-on-one with authors. We start with chapter swaps. If these work out and we are both happy, we move on to larger swaps. Details in bio
