To all non-Kentuckians, Mitch McConnell will not step down for one reason: Kentucky’s governor, who will appoint his replacement, is Andy Beshear, Democrat. A former state Attorney General, Beshear could be inclined to ignore and challenge the ridiculous law recently passed. Many expect he would.
